Simple Pleasures is a juried photography competition which originated in 2010 and is open to photographers OF ALL AGES across the globe.  The theme of the SPRING competition is "Simple Pleasures:  The Nature Show" and the theme of the FALL competition is "Life's Simple Pleasures."  The Spring Show runs April  through May with an awards reception in the middle, and the Fall Show opens the beginning of September  with an October awards reception.  ALL EVENTS ARE HELD AT THE MCRITCHIE-HOLLIS MUSEUM, 74 JACKSON STREET, NEWNAN, GEORGIA 30263.

A simple pleasure is defined as a work from life's simple pleasures which includes a human and/or animal connection which conveys a feeling of pleasure via a family friendly, uplifting images (no nudity).  Work for the nature show should not include any man-made elements.  Both professional and amateur photographers compete on a level playing field in that judging is blind and therefore work is accepted and CASH PRIZES are awarded based solely on the merit of work submitted.
